What people are saying about Baru Island, Colombia

Excellent tour, we really enjoyed it. The guide and staff on board are very friendly and always attentive. What we enjoyed the most was snorkeling and the beach in Isla Grande, it is a spectacular place, the beach with white sand and few people. From there we went to Cholon (Personally, we would have preferred to skip this point and spend more time in Isla Grande or in the next destination: Playa Blanca in Barú) Then we went to Playa Blanca in Barú and had lunch, we selected Fried Fish Steal it, it was delicious. The beach is very nice and they have spaces reserved for one, which makes it very nice. It is a tour that I would repeat. It is a tour that you should definitely do if you go to Cartagena. On the boat/boat you have a large cooler that can be used to keep water and drinks cold, you can bring your own drinks.

Luis, was a fantastic guide with and abundance of knowledge to share. He really cared about making sure we were enjoying the trip. We had local food and drink. Went on our own small boat to a local beach where we were NOT harassed by vendors. He took care of everything. He's an owner/operator. We also saved a gaviota that was caught up on a fishing line. Snorkeling was cool. By the end of the day we were exhausted and completely happy with our tour. If you want a local look at the culture and personalized service then do this.

The whole experience was great! The guide was also excellent, always making sure we were having a good time and comfortable. The only island we didn't like at all was Isla Cholon, it is really dirty and there were a lot of people in a small area. Most of us didn't enjoy it but, besides that were really happy to find this bundle with snorkeling! Lastly, we were staying out of the zone to pick up so we had to pay for extra transportation from our hotel in Marbella to the meet point.

Very good tour, friendly guides, they are not rushing you, explanations in two languages (very fluent), incredible snorkeling, enough time for the activity, super cool beach party, at the end good food in Playa Blanca

Best trip of my life, super comfortable and the guide was great and friendly
