Ricky, our guide from River Rats gave good instructions for us to follow and knows the terrains well, not to mention a good BBQ cook too. The experience at the hot pools was nice too, the sunset was awesome and into the cave to soak in the sights of the glow worm were all worth it.

We loved our trip with Ricky! We had a great group, delicious food, and I’m convinced there’s no better way to see the glow worms. The tour felt super personalized and well coordinated. Make sure that you’re prepped for 8-9 km of rowing! We were wishing we’d trained for this.

This is a must do if you're visiting the north island. You won't regret it.
