What people are saying about Belém, Brazil

Had booked cabin with wet room alone. Had then also the cabin with 2 beds for me alone. The booked for 5 days tour took downriver but only 4 days. So respect for hotel booking! Food is also available on the ship and at every stop (about 10) in the ports on the road from Manaus to Belém. Cabin clean. Only in Santarém, the ship was over night, so you came down. Enough seats (plastic chairs) available. Very exciting experience. Impressive landscape. You get in good contact with other fellow travelers. Sufficient shade. In the snack bar area but from 7:00 to 19:00 permanently loud music. Hotel pickup worked. The announced by getyourguide email by the local organizers did not come. Recommendation: call there beforehand and do not wait for the email, the pickup took place one hour earlier than announced by getyourguide.

The trip from Manaus to Belem was a really cool adventure!! As there are just few tourists on board, you get in touch with the local people. I had so much fun with some of them, while drinking a beer together, or just having a chat about some myths about the amazonian river. Luckily we saw both kinds of the river dolphins and got fresh shrimps to eat. I can just highly recomend the trip, it‘s a beautiful experience!! Just check the date of the arrival for Hotel reservations in Belém. The ticket says „5 days journey“ but in our case it was just 4 days... We left Manaus on a Wednesday at about 10:00 a.m. and arrived on Saturday at about 04:00 p.m. In Belém.

An incredible experience to the rhythm of the Amazon !!! I highly recommend to experience the Manaus belem crossing! The crew were very friendly and attentive! Everything went as planned from the start (pick up at my pousada) until the end of the expedition! A huge thank you

Great service, smooth transfers, strongly recommend
