Full description
Leaving central Belfast in the morning we will travel through the Antrim Countryside for a marvelous day out exploring Northern Ireland sites. Our first stop is at the Dunluce Castle ruins where you will have the opportunity to take a few photos of this castle dating back to the 13th century. The castle featured in the shooting of both “Game of Thrones” (as the fortress as Greyjoy’s home), and “Narnia” A highlight of the day is the Giant's Causeway where you will discover this UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy around 2 hours exploring the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal stone columns formed during a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago. Admire this incredible place on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and hear the legend of the Giant Finn McCool. On our way back to Belfast you will get an opportunity to stop at the Dark Hedges. Made famous by the TV hit show “ The Game of Thrones” as the location where Arya Stark made her escape down The Kings Road. Journey down the tunnel-like avenue of intertwined beech trees and get some spectacular photos of one of the most visited sites in Northern Ireland. On our return to Belfast the group will stop at the largest Titanic Exhibition in the world. Stretching over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition you will experience the Titanic like never before. Drawing together special effects, rides, full-scale reconstructions and interactive features you will explore the Titanic story from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic end. We had a great time, the guide was native and gave us all kinds of information and anegdotes, making our trip enjoyable and fun. For fans of Game of Thrones, it is an essential visit, but for those who are not, they will enjoy some amazing landscapes ... brutal !!!

Good day out

We picked up the tour in Belfast, the bus was 100% full from Dublin but we managed to sit close to each other. The Giants Causeway was amazing , and the commentary on the whole tour was very interesting and informative. The traditional singing from Chloe on the route - whilst she had a beautiful voice- was a bit too much for our ironic English souls. The USA trip members seemed to lap it up though so we are clearly far too cynical.. overall a good day out .

Fantastic tour. Our guide Molly was very knowledgeable about everything GoT and being an extra herself, was enthusiastic about every aspect of the tour. Couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. And our driver Ian was great as well. Would absolutely recommend this to any game of thrones fans looking for a good tour of filming locations around the Belfast area. Thank both of you so much!
