It is a two-and-a-half-hour tour, and we got to listen from a guide who actually lived in Belfast his whole life, during the Troubles. To walk by the streets and visit the places where such significant events happened was a unique experience. The tour is rich in information, dates, names, and facts. The guide Jims (I'm not sure how to spell it) is really competent and welcoming. He treated all events with due respect, but also without letting the day get too grimm. I strongly advise taking the tour prepared for rain!

I would definitely recommend this tour. Steve was fantastic at giving unbiased accounts of The Troubles. It was a great history lesson for me also, as the issues have been going on for hundreds of years. The walking tour is a great way to get your bearings around the city centre. The headsets are a great idea so we could all hear the guide clearly. Thank you so much DC Tours!

Above all other experiences in Northern Ireland, this tour gave us a real sense of Belfast past present and future. The Guides' enthusiasm to bring us, the participants, into the multiple layers and perspectives of this city's places, politics, creativity and resilience as we visited chosen points within the city was remarkable.
