The tour takes you round the interesting places in the district, from the Hackesche Höfe and Hackescher Markt to Tacheles, the New Synagogue, Rosenstrasse, and the Museum Otto Weidt. Learn about the infamous “Night of Broken Glass," the Wannsee Conference, and the miracle of the women on Rosenstrasse, and the effect they each had on the Jewish population of Berlin. Learn about the troubled history of the Jewish community in Berlin. Since the founding of the city, there has always been a Jewish presence that has been forced to live through good and bad times. In the times since their expulsion during the Prussian Monarchy, the Jewish population were alternately allowed and disallowed to stay in Berlin, until Nazism wrote the saddest chapter of their history.

La ruta fue genial por los sitios que visitamos. Nos encantó, para conocer el barrio judío hay que contratar una ruta como ésta. Puedes pasar por las calles y coger alguna información pero no es igual, es indispensable esta ruta. Fue súper interesante, lo malo es que la guía, que era simpática y encantadora, no sabía mucho del tema, lo tenía todo estudiado y, si le preguntabas, te decía que no lo sabía, que era sabía la ruta pero lo que explicaba, que eso ya lo miraría en casa.

was mir GAR NICHT gefallen hat , die tatsache in eine bonbon-fabrik gebracht zu werden. man bekam den eindruck das es ein abgekartetes speil war. die gruppenleiterin guckte auf ihr handy und wir mussten sofort dahin , da der mann die masse fertig hatte.....paßt nicht zum thema , wirkt mega unseriös..... m. scheibner
