It was a bit of puzzling with the public transport card (it was just valid, we didn't have to go anywhere). When I wanted to visit the OV info point, we got the booklets. The guides are useful, but not much in it. The discounts were not used. The map of Berlin does, and of course public transport too. All in all, fine and convenient, but my approach is for public transport use, not for the extras.

Convenient card. practically you do not have to use it, in the sense that it is not to be 'passed' or scanned as a badge at the entrances of the subways, if the controllers pass you show it to them. The only flaw that in chat before leaving I was told that I had to change the paper voucher into a Card at the airport, as for other European cities, in reality I was told that the voucher or the display on the app in case of checks was fine . Transport in Berlin is patches.

Having access to all of the public transport made moving around a lot easier, and the systems in place are so good to use, and are very clean. Discounts for some attractions were also very nice to have, and having the list of discounted attractions also helped us plan our trip, and decide what to do.
