fabulous day, educational, welll informed guide, : highly recommended

We spent a very enjoyable day, in glorious sunshine cycling from castle to castle and round the lake. It is very easy to be focussed on the second WW/Hitler and the Holocaust and the Cold War/Wall and Cecilienhof does deliver a special experience to enhance that knowledge, but the Prussian History and the family dynamics was a refreshing insight and new dimension to our knowledge of Germany. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The scenery was stunning. Lunch was good with different menu options to suit different budgets and tastes. Bikes were comfy albeit clearly a bit tired and not as new as some others we had hired elsewhere. I wouldn't have wanted to cycle any faster or much further.. it was over 20km and any faster would have made it more of an endurance event for me!

Berlin's highlights in 3 hours (need to have a driver license)

This is a great way to review the traditional sites in Berlin. So you can decide after the tour, the places you want to return to see. The guide (I think Pitter, not sure) was very kind and tolerant for new drivers. Not sure why but they ask a driver license, my friend didn't have it on her and it wasn't a problem, but they wanted us to assure them that we have one in case the police will ask for any reason. I think that our guide was good and informative, but it was mostly facts, I wish he would given us a bit extra stories that are not written in the traditional history books.

Fun way to see the city in a short time!

We really enjoyed our segway tour of Berlin. After a short training we rode off on the streets of Berlin, hopping between East and West side with ease. Our guide gave us a comprehensive and factual view over the city packed full of tips and personal facts on how the city was growing. Massive thanks to our travel agency Meine Städte for recommending and booking the trip for us!

Beautiful gardens, castles, and bike route!!

Alex took our small group on a lovely tour of the gardens and palaces of Potsdam. We learned so much history while enjoying the scenery of this important place in history. It was a nice change from the crowds and cars of Berlin. We had an excellent lunch break at a wonderful German restaurant in the center of this cute city. The train ride to and fro was an added benefit!!

Great introduction to the city, fabulous guide, great fun.

Easy to find the pick up point. Knowledgeable friendly guide - gave a sensitive history of the city. Great activity for your first day to see all the main sights you can then choose which ones to go back and see in detail. We covered a great distance that I wouldn't want to have walked and would have missed seeing so much if we'd travelled underground.
