Full description

Discover the fascinating city of Berlin on this fantastic guided tour through the city. This Berlin World War II Tour concentrates on the effects, history, buildings, and stories surrounding Berlin in the Second World War. Join a shared group or upgrade to a private tour.

First, explore the Battle of Berlin to explore how Berlin served as the Nazi stronghold in Germany and command center for Hitler and the Third Reich. This will be followed by discovering the Reichstag — a historic building in Berlin that houses the Bundestag, the lower house of Germany's parliament.

Proceed to the Russian-German War Museum (Entrance is Free) to understand how Berlin may have played the biggest part of any city during the atrocities that took place in World War II.

Next, uncover the Flak Tower to see the damage brought on by thousands of allied bombs and the defense structures built to keep them out. Then, head to Prenzlauer Berg to look at the scars and battlefields left behind during the Battle of Berlin.

Finish the tour at the Site of Hitler's Bunker to see the spot where Hitler had his notorious underground lair.

Our tour with Miguel was amazing! We had a small group of 5 which made it really personal and he tailored the tour to our interests - we actually ended up going on for 5 hours (obviously could be shorter if you wanted!) as he was showing us as much as he could. The perfect start to our time in Berlin and the most enthusiastic story telling about its history!:)

We had a tour with Miguel in which the other attendees didn’t turn up so we had our own private tour! Miguel was an exceptional guide who had a very detailed knowledge of the Third Reich and WW2. He also provided insight into other things throughout our tour which we found very informative. He was very accommodating, always open for questions and an all-round brilliant host. I would recommend this tour to anyone and want to say a big thank you to Miguel!

The tour was very well organised. The tour guide took you through the history very clarity and purpose. He is very knowledgeable about all historical aspects not just the tour topic. It’s 4 hours long but it doesn’t feel like it. Richardo was very patient and tolerant. Very personable. A real treat for us. Bring comfortable shoes as there is a fair degree of walking on all terrains.
