Full description
The iconic Spirit of Aloha provides the ultimate in sailing comfort and snorkeling fun. Choose from morning or afternoon excursions, where you are likely to see dolphins, sea turtles and other marine life unique to the warm waters of Hawaii. Explore parts of the Big Island Kona coast on the Waikoloa and Kohala-Kona coastline aboard a 54-foot sailing catamaran. Dolphins, green sea turtles and seasonal whales are some of the creatures that can be seen. Board from Anaehoomalu Bay to snorkel, sail, enjoy and relax. The custom-designed sunset-orange and maile lei sail is a stunning contrast to the azure Pacific as it sails along the blue Pacific ocean. Itineraries include morning and afternoon snorkel sails, and sunset cruises. The beautiful 53-foot (16-m), custom-built catamaran offers a smooth, comfortable, and relaxing ride. There is onboard bar, plenty of shade, 2 restrooms, ample seating both indoors and outside, fresh-water shower rinse, and a sound system. Lifeguard-certified, in-water guides are there for your service and comfort. During whale season December through April, majestic humpbacks are likely to be spotted. Snacks and beverages served aboard.

This was a great experience. We went out to a snorkeling spot that was just beautiful. The captain and crew were so nice and knowledgeable about all things found in the beautiful Hawaiian waters. The sail back was relaxing as it was beautiful. I would definitely do this tour again while in Kona

Most of us were new to snorkeling but the crew were all very helpful. Ours was the only boat out there so we didn’t have the crowd that you would find at Captain Cook which made for a wonderful morning of snorkeling. The booking said maximum of 6 making it sounded like we would have a private group since all of us are seniors and weren’t sure about being in a crowd. That being said, the catamaran was large and at no time did we feel crowded or unsafe. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we’re looking forward to doing it again at our next gathering.

Communication was terrible. It was bad that there was no tour guide person phone number was given for me call when I could not find the meet up place in the morning. I only got a text a day before, the instruction about where to meet was unclear, and it did not allow me to text back and ask questions. It took me 15 min to try to find the meet up place. The office person was no help either (when I called the office) since they have to talk to the tour guide person. So I was on the phone with the office person for about 10 min while I was trying to find the meet up place. They said they will let me know once they talk to the tour guide. I finally asked a lady on the beach, she pointed me the meet up place. Also, we did not see many fishes.
