I booked this trip my arrival date and had a time to check in where I was going to stay. Coach from the airport departed 15 min late so I was at the meeting point about 11:15 am and The sight seeing bust departing at 11:30 am. I was told by booking officer that bus left already as she said should be there 30 min early . How ever I received a voucher for other trip was for Blarney , Cobh etc. Tour guide was excellent he even managed well with timing and dropped nearest to bus station to go Cork airport as I was leaving same day. I absolutely enjoy his very enjoyable knowledge and sense of humour about what he covered for trip. I also very much appreciated with tour officer as she was very kind and gave me complementary ticket.

The tour was very well organised, the train and coach trips very comfortable and the Drymond B&B, which was cosy and very clean, gave us a wonderful taste of Irish hospitality. We had great views of the stunning scenery and landscape of the South-west of Ireland and all admissions to points of interest such as Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher, etc were efficiently taken care of with adequate provisions for rest within the scheduled times. The piece de resistance of the whole tour was our guide, Jonathan Beaumont. He gave us the best possible insight of Irish hospitality and welcome, he was professional and attentive to everyone, and imparted such in-depth and accurate historical facts of Ireland especially about the Great Famine. He also gave us interesting insights into the folklore and superstitions of Ireland such as the Fairy Tree :) . Our enjoyment of the whole tour was enhanced by this very special tour guide - thank you Jonathan! Doreen and Paule from Seychelles.

What people are saying about Blarney Castle

Exactly what we needed, they drop you off at the Blarney Castle, then you have 2 hours to look at the Castle at your own speed. After that you will be dropped off at Cobh, you also have 2 hours here in this city. After the two stops, you can decide, if you want to go to the National Park, the Jameson Destillery or go back to Cork. The transfer were easy and always on time. The guide we had, was very kind and funny. i can totaly recommend this tour

A beautiful trip and get away

The staff were all wonderful and the trip was amazing, the only thing I was disappointed about is that we only went to two destinations instead of three. The bus driver asked if anyone had booked tickets for Fota, no one did, so he just skipped the destination. I was very excited to go there, I’m sure we could have bought tickets upon entry. Aside from that the trip was great.

Absolutely fantastic way to explore the south-east of Ireland in 3 days and learn a lot about the culture and history on the way. The guides were all very knowledgeable and passionate about their country. An unforgettable experience!

Marcus was a phenomenal tour guide. He went above and beyond for us! Hope to come back and take another tour with him. It was a wonderful experience and best way to see Ireland!!
