Nuno was the best tour guide. He is unbelievably knowledgeable and a total sweetheart that cares first and foremost about his travelers having the BEST possible experience. He loves imparting his knowledge and genuinely cares about the accuracy of the history he shares. He takes you to see just the right sites without totally exhausting you, and in addition to sharing his wisdom about the actual tour sites, he also keeps car rides interesting and exciting. He truly felt like an old friend. Also the restaurant you will go to is absolutely incredible and very reasonably priced. Huge shoutout to Nuno for the highlight of our trip. From the girls who "had a crush on you."

Of course in Sintra one must visit Pena & other palaces, and Quinta de Regaleira. But there are so many MORE gems that are hidden as well. This tour is a must to actually learn about traditional life in Portugal (which the normal tourist sites do not show at all). And Filipe was a fantastic tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and very fun. He obviously loves his country as well. If all you want to learn is who built a chair in a palace, this is not the tour for you - stick with the run-of-the-mill palace tours. But if you want to know what life was like in the small village, call Filipe. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful experience visiting Sintra with plenty of time to do both the Pena Palace and Quinta Da Regaleria (separate during free time). Trip to Cascais was also great especially after the business of the palace, it was the right order to really enjoy each.

A wonderful experience! Breathtaking places to visit and Antonio, the tour guide, was perfect! Knowledgeable in history and tradition, very kind and funny! Absolutely a "must do" once you're in Lisbon!

Guide, Nuno was excellent with his knowledge & expertise in the history of the area.
