Full description

Visit the BODY WORLDS Museum by Dr. Gunther von Hagens. No other exhibition will change your perspective of human beings in such a way and bring your own body into the center of attention. See real human preparations such as whole-body plastinates, which will convey single organ functions as well as common diseases in an easily understandable manner. Walk through the different areas and get a detailed insight into the complex but fragile structures of the insides of the body. See the human skeleton, the interplay of the muscular system, learn more about the digestive system, the development of an embryo in the womb as well as the cardiovascular system. The respiratory organs and the nervous system are also part of the exhibition as well. Beyond the exhibits, you will learn more about the aspects that determine existence. For example, find out what determines a person's happiness and how the body copes with stress. Learn something about the middle ground between excessiveness and modesty and what the body needs in order to live a long and healthy life.

You currently have to plan some waiting time, because an unlimited number of people are not allowed in the exhibition at the same time. But this is absolutely not a disadvantage but rather a big plus. Otherwise it is a nice exhibition where you can learn a lot and the audio guide is also great. The only drawback was the size compared to other Body Worlds exhibitions which I think are larger and more worthwhile for the price.

a lot of waiting time despite booking online in advance, you could also buy tickets on site and not only online as described on the website...the hygiene rules are described/indicated in advance, only a few stick to them, nobody checks it...come still some with scarves that are even then removed/dealt in the meantime, the other part of the visitors wears the mouth and nose protection under their nose and some of them take them off in the meantime! ...the exhibition is as described very interesting!!!

I have a lot of respect for the exhibition and was thinking about whether to go there for a long time, I had a lot of doubts whether I would get nightmares afterwards and so on. I decided to understand my body better. The bodies are quite plastic, so you quickly forget that there were people with a soul and to what extent their bodies voluntarily look is questionable in my opinion, but good. Interesting for medical students and athletes and all body-conscious people. Audio Guide also explains a lot, but you can tell that some of the numbers were not shown and that when they were pressed, information still came, which means that not everything was shown. I expected a little more. What surprised me was that there were families with children of about 9 years which I think is too early. I had to exchange my mobile voucher for a ticket at the cash register, so I had to queue anyway, which was good
