Great experience and convenient to our hotel near Copley Square. They have other locations, but this was great for us and several other brand name hotels within a block of the Purdential Bldg. Easy sign up the night before and entertaining all through the tour. Guide was knowledgeable of the area and knew his history. Great for history buffs and the general tourist. Good deal!
Our guide knew so much about the island. He gave us incredible information about each area we toured as well as making sure we had bathroom breaks, and time to walk around some interesting areas. He gave us great lunch recommendations and made sure we knew exactly when and where to catch the ferry back! We even enjoyed our van trip to and from the ferry pier in Falmouth.
Rosie the Riveter was very informative yet humorous. We learned a lot about the history of Boston while enjoying ourselves immensely. Several of our group had never been on a duck boat tour before and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
This is a great day trip when visiting Boston. The optional tour is a bonus if you don't have specific plans once you arrive at Martha's Vineyard. However, if you want to eat and shop while at Oak Bluffs, I suggest you forego the tour.
We spent three hours there! It was amazing. I cannot say enough for this experience. We loved the butterflies, feeding the birds, the games, the gift shops.
