Our very competent guide Wolfgang was "on the spot" on time. And as it turned out, we were his only guests, as there was apparently no demand for a guided tour in English. Funnily enough, I only booked this because the German-speaking tours were fully booked. Wolfgang then immediately agreed to guide us in German. Because of the amount of historical information he gave us, spiced up with nice anecdotes, we were quite happy that we received the information in our mother tongue. In the end we went on a 2-hour, humorous and very informative (history, architecture, art, cuisine, ...) walk through the city. I'm convinced that Wolfgang could have dealt with a larger group and in English in a similarly informal but targeted manner. Any time.

It was an extremely great walking tour. Our guide Karen knew her stuff and shared the history in such an interesting way that you can't help but be completely engaged in her every word! She is very knowledgeable not only in the history of Dresden, but also of Germany in general and could answer our questions with ease. I highly recommend this English speaking tour of the history of Dresden. I have such an appreciation of this glorious city...thanks to our guide.

Excellent tour, exceptional guide! The group was tiny and it appeared that we had almost a private tour that lasted approx. three hours (much more than the website promised). Our guide (Wolfgang) was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, humorous and super nice man. It was a great pleasure to walk through the city with him and to dig into beautiful and tragic history of Dresden.

One of the best tours I've ever done. Laura was so enthusiastic, so knowledgeable and gave us loads of information in bite size chunks so it never became too much. Thoroughly enjoyed it and a great way to see the city.

I had a wonderful time with Karen. Her knowledge about Dresden is phenomenal.
