We were only the 3 of us + the guide Marina. She asked us what we would like to see and where we would like to end up and organised the tour accordingly. We got a nice and different tour. A mix of history and architecture. We enjoyed it a lot! Thank you Marina. The 90 minutes went fast. It is special to have your own guide!

We got SO lucky with Shanthuru!

Shanthuru was an incredible guide to my brother and me. He communicated with us through WhatsApp prior to the tour and asked us if we would like more of a historical or touristy/sights focused tour. We chose a historical focus and that’s exactly what we got. Shanthuru gave us a customized tour filled with interesting facts. It’s clear the local-owned businesses love him and that he helps the local economy. The tour was not a canned monologue, but more of a dialogue with us asking questions and Shanthuru answering them and using our interests to guide our next destination. He gave us tons of recommendations for after the tour. We left feeling like we had been hosted by an old friend. I HIGHLY recommend a tour with Shanthuru!

Suki was the best guide I could ask for.

She gave me a real taste of Brussels. It was so great seeing it from the perspective of someone who lived there. She showed me all the good bars and restaurants, and even told me where I could get vegan options. She knows so much history too, which is just what I like. To anyone thinking about getting a guide: ask for Suki, you won't regret it.
