You received a voucher by email, which you had to exchange for the actual Brussel Card at the tourist information office in Brussels. Since we took the train to Brussels, the tourist information was only a 4-minute walk from the train station (Grand Place) and the exchange was quick and easy. The use of the card in the museums worked perfectly and without problems. Only in the Hard Rock Café was receiving the free ice cream tied to the purchase of a menu. Since you weren't allowed to eat anything in the Hard Rock Café at the time and only the shop was practically open, the voucher for the café was actually pointless. I was able to use the Brussel Card in all the museums that I have visited with my son. After just 3 museums, buying the card was worth it. I would do it again at any time and can only recommend it. You actually save a lot of money.

You can get the card in no time! It would be nice if it is clearer beforehand what you can use the card for. That is now not easy to find on the website. It is also strange that the map (which is actually a QR code) still needs to be picked up at a visit.brussels office and cannot be downloaded via the Get-your-guide app

Brussels Card interesting for museum visitors

The map is a good addition for visitors interested in culture. It was of little use to us, but at least the cards and information when buying were helpful. Overall, it is too complicated and there are often only advantages in connection with minimum sales and in classic tourist traps. We will not use them again, even if we will definitely come back to Brussels.
