Follow your guide through through the history and sights of the Buda Castle District on this walking tour in Budapest. Hear stories from Hungarian history as you see sights like the President's Palace, the Royal Palace, and the Hungarian Parliament building.

Begin your tour at the Baroque Holy Trinity Statue and walk to the 15th century, Gothic Matthias Church. Admire the fairy-tale like Fishermen's Bastion and take in views of the Danube river and the Parliament building from the Neo-Romanesque terraces.

Stroll along the old cobble-stone streets to get to the President's Palace and the Royal Palace complexes. Walk around the courtyards and fountains, and look at the proud guards outside the palace.

Marvel at stunning views of the other side of the city across the majestic Danube River from the royal terraces. Capture pictures of views of the Margaret Bridge, the Chain Bridge, the Elizabeth Bridge, and the Liberty Bridge.

Visit the other side of the castle and enjoy an excellent view towards the forested Buda Hills from the medieval walls. End your tour near the Holy Trinity Statue where it began.

A very affordable tour that included the most interesting buildings Matthias church, the Fishermen's bastion, the presidential palace and the 3 castles now museums. Everything is guided in an enlightening and pleasant way from the outside. You have to pay for a visit to the church, but the museums are free to visit afterwards.

This is an exciting tour around the area of Buda castle and all the significant buildings there. It is a visit to Budapest' history from 1200 till the WWs and today through the castle. BUT beware, the tour doesn't visit the Parliament building, although the description mentions it, nor any interior, museum inside the castle. (To visit the interiors it is a separate ticket and tour.)

One week ago, me and a group of 10 friends went on a private walking tour around Buda Castle, St Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion and other beautiful landmarks. Our tour guide was a lady called Katalin, and she was so friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Budapest. Best tour we’ve ever been on with the best tour guide! Really good value for money, I would give more stars if I could. Budapest is such a beautiful city we will definitely be back!
