Your tour begins at the Holy Trinity Statue, from where you walk around the magnificent Matthias Church - built in the splendid Gothic style of the 15th century. Next to the cathedral you can admire the Fishermen's Bastion, a fantastic fairy tale structure offering the best view over the Danube and the Hungarian Parliament building. After a pleasant walk on the old cobble-stone streets, leave the residential district to travel to the President's Palace and the Royal Palace complexes. Walk around the courtyards and fountains, and look at the proud guards outside the palace. From the royal terraces you can enjoy the the most stunning views of the other side of the city across the majestic Danube River, with full views of its main bridges: Margaret Bridge, Chain Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, and Liberty Bridge. After walking back from the Royal Palace, explore the other side of the castle. From the medieval walls you have an excellent view towards the Buda Hills - the western part of the city with its forests and nature parks. Your tour later ends at the tour starting point at the Holy Trinity Statue, in front of the Matthias Church.

St. Stephen's Basilica is one of the most beautiful neo-classical buildings of Budapest and is the venue for the organ concert. The arias of the program are performed by Kolos Kováts, one of the most famous and talented concert and oratorio singer in Hungary. He received the Liszt Ferenc prize, Merit of Art and the Kossuth Prize. This full-day tour of the mighty Danube is ideal for people who want to combine history with nature and would like to enjoy some of the most beautiful countryside in Hungary. You will visit the 750-year-old Royal Residence at Visegrád where you will learn about life in the Middle Ages while enjoying spectacular views of the Danube Valley. At Esztergom, the northern gate of Budapest, you will pause at the largest cathedral in the country and see the burial sites of famous cardinals as you gaze across the water towards Slovakia. Cross the river and border into Slovakia to see the stunning view from the opposite side.  You will stop at an artists' village in Szentendre, a baroque city located where the Danube River meets the Pilis Mountains. You will have time to visit some of the museums, such as the world-famous Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum or the Confectionery Museum, where the buildings and people are made of marzipan. Browse the shops of the village if you prefer, before the return journey to Budapest. Travel during the months of May through September and this will be on a magical boat cruise, a fitting way to arrive back in the city center. The return trip from the tour's final stop Szentendre to Budapest is on a Danube boat from Friday to Sunday between the beginning of May and the end of September.
