Full description
See Budapest in a different light on a 4-hour private photography tour and start your journey to master photography to rival famous Hungarian photographers, such as Robert Capa, Martin Munkácsy, Andre Kertész, and more. Your guide will teach you new tricks as you discover architectural gems, secret city scapes and portraits of Budapest characters. Explore the functions of your camera before putting things into practice. Start with a drink in one of the city’s legendary ruin bars in the Jewish District. Then, stroll the Budapest streets to learn how to capture Danube panoramas, street art, majestic Andrássy Avenue, and medieval Pest. If you are a complete beginner, your guide will focus on the most important settings of your camera. The more advanced can choose to focus on a specific field. Learn how to use shutter speeds, ISO settings, flash, and white balance in manual mode. Get tips on composition and framing, and learn when to utilize equipment such as tripods, external flash, lenses, and filters. You can also look into editing functions, such as raw or jpeg formats, pixel size, and even how to develop and exhibit your photos if you want to take things further.

Antal was my guide. He has a degree in photography so very knowledgeable about camera settings and composition. Very personable and helpful to get me back to the bus station at the end of the trip so I didn't get lost. He pointed out interesting art deco buildings and reflection shots as well as all the historic buildings. Antal also told me a lot about Hungary's history, the good and the bad. A great 4 hour tour!

Zsuzsa contacted us before our tour to determine our interests, expectations and levels of camera proficiency. When we met, she sat down with us to review camera skills and plan our route. Zsuzsa's knowledge of the history and architecture of Hungary and Budapest added a great deal to our tour, and she suggested interesting interesting site lines while helping with camera settings. She showed patience and a good sense of humor. We would highly recommend her as a photo/tour guide.

My partner and I were very impressed with our guide. She was friendly, approachable and patient. Both of us are beginner photographers and wanted to explore the city at the same time so the tour was perfect for what we wanted. We were very comfortable with our guide who understood our needs and also spoke good English so communication was easy.
