My visit to Colonia del Sacramento was made awesome by the excellent guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share insights not just about Colonia, but also about the country. I learned many intriguing facts and received valuable recommendations for free time exploration. Punctually picked up from my hotel and from the ferry station upon returning, the driver was not only reliable but also engaging and humorous, making the journey even more enjoyable. Overall, a memorable experience enriched by superb guidance and hospitality. A tip: if mosquitoes love you, make sure you have OFF mosquito repellent with you or get it from a pharmacy (it was the only brand that worked for me and kept the pesky bloodsuckers away)
This is an absolute must do! It was so amazing our guide Leandro was the best super informative and entertaining. The food was spectacular and the ranch it’s self is so beautiful you definitely get your moneys worth just BRING BUG SPRAY
The guide Lourdes was very informative. She gave us good tips on where to eat. The delicacy of urguay chevita was fabulous. It was great learning all about the spanish and the Portuguese. Colonia was beautiful.
Wonderful tour led by a guide who spoke English and Spanish. We had fun learning about Tigre and the delta. We loved the boat ride portion the most. Lunch was delicious too.
Lovely day out definitely a highlight but bring most spray.
