I don't have anything critical to say about the tour company - they were just fine, but the activity itself is rather lame. We spent an hour in traffic riding out to Tigre, then got dropped at a market for an hour. The market was fine but just like every other market you've been to in Buenos Aires (very similar to the ones in La Boca). Then you're taken to the boat dock and are loaded on a nice boat with other tour groups. I'm amazed that this has become such a tourist draw - it just isn't that interesting! The tour boat has a prerecorded narrative in Spanish, Portuguese and English that drones on for the entire tour. The buildings were pretty but you just float past them - you can't get out and walk around. Then back to the bus for another hour drive into Buenos Aires to be dropped off in the middle of downtown during the height of rush hour to catch a cab. I really think it would have been better to take a train out there and get a boat ticket there - there are lots of options.
