The show is a showcase of the passionate dance form by a cast of skilled dancers. Journey through an art form that both acknowledges the immigrants who brought tango to the city and celebrates the dance in contemporary form. The show is composed with more than 20 excellent artists on stage and a live orchestra formed by six upper level musicians. I will show you the proper technique to make each dish and explain their history, as well as teaching you about the different culinary traditions in the country. You'll be welcomed with alfajores and "mate", a herby hot beverage, then start your cooking class. Once you arrive at my home, you will taste and learn the rituals surrounding our famous hot beverage "mate" and alfajores. Then we’ll start off with the cooking class: I will teach you how to make empanadas, both the dough and the filling from scratch. After we are done cooking, as a starter we will have a typical picada, consisting of a charcuterie board. Finally, we’ll enjoy the meal we’ve prepared together paired with Malbec red wine and great conversation. You’ll get to try an Argentine classic dessert. I'll accompany you on each and every step of the way, showing you the proper techniques and explaining a little bit of the history of the dishes and the different culinary traditions in the country.
