Departing from Saranda, your first stop will be Butrint where you will learn the ancient history of this site. Full of archeological monuments, Butrint has been part of the national heritage of UNESCO.You will see the old Roman theatre, watchtowers and numerous and splendid well-preserved monuments. After taking in what represent some history of the area it will be time for your next stop. In about 30 minutes you will reach Ksamil. One of the most wonderful beaches in Albania, well known for the clear waters and a mix of white sandy beaches and white cliffs What is special about this place, is it’s three small islands around which you can reach by swimming, by kayak or by boat. With its excellent position this place is known as "the Ionian pearl".

Travel south along the Albanian coast and explore the best of this region on a guided tour. Spend the day discovering Butrint, Saranda, and Gjirokaster. Start your trip with a comfortable ride in an air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel in Tirana. Travel to Saranda and see enchanting beaches such as Borsh, Porto Palermo, Qeparo, and more. At the evening we will enjoy one of the most memorable sunsets throught Lekursi Castle. Amazing View of all Saranda Coast. Its time for BUTRINT NATIONAL PARK. We will start with exploring the ancient ruins and archaeological wonders of Butrint National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Butrint is the largest Site in Albania, with more than 3 million visitors per year makes it unique and one of the most amazing Ancient Cities in Balkan. After immersing yourself in history, we can enjoy beaches of Ksamil or we can head to the charming town of Tepelene, nestled in the Albanian countryside. While we coming back through our road we will have the Vjosa River, the last free Flowing River in Europe. Some needed stops and coming back to Tirana. End of the Journey.

Departing Tirana at the dawn of 8 o'clock, we shall journey towards Gjirokastra, a place 230 kilometers away, renowned for its remarkable preservation of the Ottoman architecture and its prominent agricultural land. We will traverse through the depths of Southern Albania, admiring the green fields that the countryside has to offer. Along our path, we shall be accompanied by the Vjosa River, one of the few untamed rivers of Albania and the surrounding Balkan region. Once we arrive in the city, you will soon recognize that this metropolis is unlike any other. At the heart of the city lies the main square, proudly named after the renowned Albanian Patriot of the 19th century, Cerciz Topulli. Here, the cobblestone streets culminate in a splendid spectacle, their journey from the castle's lofty heights finally at an end. Dating back to the 17th Century, the Ottoman era saw the flourishing of a bustling epicenter that sent its vitality reverberating throughout the city. A hub of economic activity, this was the place where news, gossip and rumors were propagated with remarkable swiftness. All manner of transactions were conducted here, as well as leisurely gatherings over coffee. Countless unions were arranged here, providing the perfect milieu for families to come together prior to the wedding rites. This day, the city proudly displays its history to all who visit, with a splendid array of souvenirs and stories shared by the affable inhabitants. Majestically, we tread through the bustling Bazaar to reach the grand Gjirokastra Fortress. Upon the hilltop's natural defenses, it was the first settlement of the city, deeply rooted in the captivating legend of Argjiro, the young princess who sacrificed herself. Thusly, it is commonly referred to as the Crown of the City. Renovated significantly in the 19th Century, it has been used as a fortress and prison by countless regimes and political parties of the past. Undeniably, the Fortress holds great historical significance, yet its stony visage still provides a stunning view of the city, placidly spread along the hills. Time includes transportation. After visiting the heritage city of Gjirokastra we will drive for about an hour to arrive the biggest and most beautiful city of Albanian Riviera , Saranda. We have a short stop in by the sea and walk on the main promenade that offers wonderful view of the sea and the neighboring country of Greece, the island of Corfu. As we make our way through the charming streets of Ksamil, we will soon arrive at the renowned Butrint Archaeological Park, a true gem of Albanian archeology. From Butrint we return back to Tirana

But before we stop at Blue Eye and marvel at the spring’s shades of blue and nature around it. Set off for a beach day at Ksamil Islands and on the way back to Saranda visit the Lekursi Castle overseeing the city. Day 5: Berat via Porto Palermo Bay & Albanian Riviera Road En route to the city of Berat via the scenic Riviera road, explore the Ali Pasha Castle with your Tour Director. Marvel at the architecture and listen to entertaining legends about the man who build it, Ali Pashe Tepelena. Stop for lunch at a rustic local restaurant along Shushica river. Reach Berat, get settled in the hotel and enjoy an evening in the lights and promenade of this pretty Unesco town. Day 6: Walking Tour & Local Food in Berat (Unesco) This morning set out for a walking guide of “City of Thousand Windows”, where you will admire the Red Mosque, the White Mosque, the Church of the Holy Trinity and the arched bridge of Gorica.
