Byron Bay: The Farm and Lighthouse with Lunch & Tastings

3. Byron Bay: The Farm and Lighthouse with Lunch & Tastings

Setting off from the Gold Coast in the morning, cruise down through the rolling green farmlands of the Tweed Valley towards the iconic northern New South Wales beach town of Byron Bay. Take a stroll around the property to meet the Highland cows, purchase some homegrown sunflowers at the on-site florist, or perhaps grab an ice cream at Baylato, before making a move to Stone and Wood to sample the famed Byron Bay brewery’s multi-award-winning beers. Enjoy a tasting at one of Byron’s boutique distilleries set in a lush rainforest. Cape Byron Distillery specializes in gin (with whisky on the way), while Lord Byron Distillery produces rum, vodka, gin, and more. Hear stories of sustainability just as epic as their boozy offerings at both venues before returning to the Gold Coast.

I enjoyed the whole day! The tour guide Tom was lovely and knowledgeable and cooked us lunch! I especially loved the Crystal castle and the gardens! The lighthouse was beautiful. Could've missed going to bangalow, not much to see or do but was relaxing having lunch there listening to all the birds in the trees
