Full description

Discover the northern coast of Israel on a private day trip from Tel Aviv, Herzliya, or Netanya. Explore the ancient Roman capital of Caesarea and its historic landmarks. Visit the old city of Acre and stroll through the quaint markets, then stop by the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes.

Begin the day with a pickup from your accommodation. Drive along Israel's northern coast to see Caesarea, an administrative center of the Roman Empire and the capital of the Byzantine Palaestina Prima province. Visit the beautifully preserved Roman Theater, the Historic Port, and the Crusades Walls. Continue to Haifa and admire the lush Baha'i Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Up next, reach the old city of Acre, also a UNESCO World Heritage site, and see the famous Knights Halls, one of the miracles of European Architecture.

Enjoy the Arab markets of Acre and walk through the secret tunnel built by the Templars in the XII century. Explore the twisted Medieval streets with typical urban components such as a citadel, mosques, and baths.

Move on to the far north of Israel to visit the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes, a geological formation on the border between Israel and Lebanon. Admire breathtaking views of the rocky cliffs and blue sea below. Pass by the Lebanese border before returning to your accommodation.
