We were picked up on time from our hotel and immediately put at ease by Brett introducing us to everyone on the bus. We were taken to places a little off the beaten track so to speak which was great as we learned a bit of local history and the places we were taken to were just magical! The food and wine were local and delicious and we learned so much about them. The views were spectacular. Varied venues, no lack of food and we met a great group of people. No pressure to purchase anything. This is a full day excursion, bring your hat and sunnies and comfortable shoes. We highly recommend this tour. Brett the guide is so knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing it with us. We appreciated his passion for the region.

We started the day with a history lesson of the passing areas on our way into cairns. So very knowledgeable! The sky rail was very interesting and for 40Aud each well worth it to get to Kuranda. The scenic railway from Kuranda back down the mountains is absolutely spectacular with some amazing views. The town of Kuranda itself has been some what effected from COVID but no doubt it will bounce back. Recommend having a quick look at the butterfly sanctuary while your there too!

Great tour with very knowledgeable guide. We saw crocs, rare birds, monarch butterlies and tree species that were 150 million years old. Sadly with covid we weren't able to go to lunch where there is animal sanctuary but still an awesome time

Gavin our tour guide for the day was absolutely amazing. Gavin was happy let us know his knowledge that he knows about rainforest witch he did really well. Was a great day all round.

I prefer to travel up the moutain via train rather than down, it seemed a lot slower going down. Karunda is a lovely quaint town with lots of small shops and Markets.
