This is quite an expensive trip but its definitely worth it, the train ride is amazing the views were beautiful, especially when we stopped to see the waterfall. The cable car experience was also great, seeing the forest from above is surreal. Overall had a really good day. One thing to note is the seating on the train isnt what I expected they have long sofas set out facing eachother quite closely and the train is full so they squash 8 people into one area of seating so its not really very what you’d expect. Its not the most comfortable and if you’re not sat at the window you can’t really see the views. Also theres not much going on at kuranda nothing special here.

The tour was very well run, train trip was interesting and the Skyrail return meet all expectations. It is just a shame that Covid has resulted in the closing of a number of the shops, but hopefully the town will be able to regenerate very soon. Really enjoyed the local artist work - so many talented people there, would recommend.

The train ride was nice, however we boarded at central station with other passengers. The train has long bench seats which have 4 seats right next to each other. 4 Grown adults shoulder to shoulder is a bit warm particularly if the weather is hitting 29 degrees not to mention a bit tight if you have any Covid anxiety. The train views are predominantly on the right as you go up. So if you like to take pics of scenery You need a seat next to the right hand window or choose the gold class option for more space. The gondola was awesome, spectacular scenery, again if busy your likely to be sharing a tight space with others. There is not much time at Kurranda, we would have liked to have seen the aviary and butterflies, but we did not have time to do that. Be careful if you book on line, tge online form said pick up at 9am, but our guide arrived at 8:20am.
