This trip was booked as a cheaper alternative to what our hotel was offering, I recommend booking this was to avoid hiked up prices. Our pick up time was advised 24hr previous and our guide and tour transport were waiting early for us. Debbie our guide was lovely and discussed local knowledge and info for our multi lingual party with ease including everyone equally. The cenotes were great with plenty of time to explore the underwater caves. There was a sandwich and muffin snack with water available. We arrived at akumal beach resort for the turtle swim which was very busy (no apparent limits to entry) also it was windy (out of our control obviously) We headed into the sea with Debbie and an on-site guide also to keep our party of 12 together - very difficult as many others in the water in orange life vests. This and the wind had caused poor visibility in the water I actually felt the water was way too busy for the turtles and this has become too commercial in what is their home.

Oto was our guide and he was amazing!! He spoke German, very good English and Spanish! The food they provide was not the best… so I would suggest bringing your own snacks/food! We did stop at a gas station and got a sandwich, not sure if all guides will stop though. I would definitely bring a towel, and a long sleeve shirt or shorts because they don’t allow you to wear sunscreen because of the crystal clear water and to keep the turtles safe! They also give you an option to buy the pictures/videos your guide takes of you which turned out amazing! 10/10 would recommend.

Great tour including snorkeling in a cenote and in the sea to see beautiful turtles. Adrian gave great instructions and always took care of the individual needs of the participants. Would definitely highly recommend this tour if you want to see the beautiful nature of Mexico!
