First, assess if it is worth it for you to be picked up at the hotel, I don't know how much it will be by taxi, but we who have a rented car, as there is no parking as such, a girl, next to the hotel where the catamaran leaves , offered for 20$USD (€18) to leave it in a small piece of land next to the hotel. Information that I would have liked to know before. At the check-in booth, for $60USD per person, they offered you an upgrade to a boat of only 20 people with the excuse that they would leave you directly on the north beach, which is the most important, and although we didn't do it because it was very expensive, we They ended up leaving the north beach as well. Snorkeling if there are a lot of waves and you are not an expert, stay on the boat because it is very dizzy, as advice from a non-expert, but although it is short, very cool. The food was too early (11:00) and basic, salad, ceviche, rice, 3 delicacies, pasta and fruit, it is not Mexican food as such and with the 4 ho

The tour in general is fine, you go on a catamaran to the reef to snorkel then to the north beach and there directly to eat at 11:00 a.m., which I find excessively early there has 1.30 min of time then you have to leave, they say That everything is included is not true, coffee and bottled water have separate costs. Then it is free time until 15:10 when you go directly to the starting point. One thing I didn't like was the food too soon, they sell photos on the boat, each photo costs 300 Mexican pesos. And at the port, when we checked-in, a girl wanted to sell us a tour on a smaller boat that she called VIP and that He assured us access to the north beach, that is, where the normal tours also go, the cost was 250 dollars but they left it at 50 dollars per person. For me it is wanting to rob the tourist.

My partner and I did this tour and it was the best part of our 2.5 week holiday in Mexico! We were offered an upgrade ($50USD) to go on a smaller catamaran with only 30 people instead of 100, it also included extra drinks and docked at a nicer area to explore on the island. It was well worth the extra $. The beach at Isla Mujeres was absolutely breathtaking and the Mexican buffet lunch was so delicious. The boat was fun and we loved snorkelling at two different points in the ocean on the way there. Cannot recommend this tour enough!
