Experiencing the purification ceremony and the temazcal was amazing. The other parts of our tour could have been planned better. It could have started sooner, so that we did not have to get back to our hotel so late. The Mayan house visit could have been viewed earlier, before the ceremony, since there was so much down time, while we waited for the third van to arrive

The experience was quite impressive, the only thing I was not sure about was the number of partecipants for the ceremony. We were a group of 30 and unfortunately some people were chatting all the time, being disrespectful to the Mayan community. The ritysl is made in a very small building made of stone, probably not recommanded to people suffering from claustrophobia.

Hi! We really enjoyed the spiritual and body purification ceremonies! Swimming in the cenote and dinner after was a treat:) tbh, it felt too touristy and we were expecting it to be more traditional. I also lost my wedding ring in the cenote. It’s a gold band! I’ll provide a reward of $100 if it’s found and given to Olga! She was our guide who did great! Thanks again.
