The best way to explore the underwater world of Cancun is, no doubt, by scuba diving. Learn to dive for the first time with a professional diver and discover the wonderful sea life of the Mexican Caribbean. Choose between visiting the colorful Manchones Reef or the mysterious Underwater Museum of Art, also known as MUSA. Both diving locations are home to hundreds of tropical fish, corals, starfish, turtles, and rays. Manchones is a shallow reef located close to Isla Mujeres (Spanish for Island of Women). It’s very common to see turtles here as well as lots of other colorful reef fish and sea life. The Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA) consists of two main locations. The deeper section is great for diving while the shallower part is great for non-divers and snorkelers. During your MUSA dive, see over 450 life-sized statues which are now covered with algae and the coral reef. This man-made reef attracts all kinds of underwater life: the crevices of the sculptures provide great hiding places for fish to breed and inhabit.

What people are saying about Cancún

Eventually, I couldn't dive because of seasickness and fear of the sea. Also, I think it's a little tough for those who don't understand English very well. However, the practice and guidance at the pool by the local staff was very good. It was difficult to get used to oxygen cylinders, suits, fins, etc., but it was a good experience and I enjoyed it. The staff also taught me politely, patiently and kindly, and also kindly taught me who was fluttering when diving into the sea. However, after all the fear won and I returned to the ship. Also, since the time you spend on the boat is unexpectedly long, it is recommended that you drink it just in case, without deciding whether you are okay with seasickness. In any case, it was a good experience and the staff's response was excellent, so I would like to evaluate it like this. I couldn't dive, so I don't have any impressions of the Undersea Museum.

If you want to truly see Cancun, this is the way to do it. Our guide, Nassim, was extremely knowledgeable and eager to share what Cancun has to offer. We were able to have authentic Mexican cuisine and learn to make it at home as well. Nassim made the class fun and inclusive of everyone in attendance. We all highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience. Alejandra welcomed us like friends and taught us techniques and recipes to bring to our home kitchen. Gardens surround the building with organic produce to supply the kitchen. If you're looking for an authentic experience you'll learn so much about Mexico & their food.

We really get our money's worth! The guide was great, the explanations for beginners too. The museum as well as the seabed are just magnificent. Activities that I totally recommend

Diving has exceeded my expectations so much that I am already planning another vacation in Mexico :)
