What people are saying about Caniço, Portugal

Our driver Antonio picked us up in Canico with a little delay. There were 4 of us in the Range Rover which was perfect. From there we went to the various viewpoints. At the beginning he still had to warm up to us, but that quickly subsided and we had a lot of fun. The off-road route in particular had it all. We were shaken up a lot and almost missed the abyss. In Santana we had a 1.5 hour stay to eat and explore. We hadn't taken any food with us and looked for something in town. Then we went to a rum factory, where we could try and buy rum. From there we went to our last stop, Ponta de São Lourenco and then back to the hotel. We were out and about from 10:00 a.m. to around 4:30 p.m.

The transfer is very well organized and also very practical if you don't have a rental car and don't want to go there and back for the hike. The details of the hike were explained to us in great detail, although 4.5 hours for the hike seems very long at first, but we would have liked to have had an hour more...

Amazingly good organized tour with a very careful and thoughtful driver! We very much enjoyed the hike with the people we met in our transfer and will certainly keep it in good memory.

Not well known but an amazing dimension of Madeira.

it was amazing. the driver was really good and kind
