We had one day in Christchurch as we were on a cruise. This was a lovely way to see the city and get commentary from different tram drivers as we hopped off and on -- we had caught a public bus from Lytlleton and along the way a local said not to worry about the tram as you could walk the route just as easily and suggested riverside market and the view from the library -- we did those things as we saw them from the tram and the trams had stops at both -- we then went on the punt which the lovely customer service fellow had booked a time for us when we picked up our tickets at the first tram stop. The punt was wonderful as the weather was perfect and we glided by the botanic gardens and there were ducks everwhere. The Gondola ride has great views - I am scared of heights but I managed. The souvenir shop at the top is astounding.

The tour was amazing and it ended up being a beautiful day out! The only thing, is the roads are extremely windy. If you get motionsickness at all, would recommend you take something before you travels! I also wish at some of the stops there would be a little bit more time to enjoy, but overall amazing tour! Would definitely go again.

The tour guide/driver was a fountain of knowledge. He was so passionate about the area and looked after us all very well. I would recommend this tour, the places were well chosen

Great combo to see as much of Christchurch as you can in one day

Well planned, many guides at each meeting point to advise you
