Your tour begins with a mild hike through the Steenbras Nature Reserve to the natural rock pools known as “Crystal Pools”. You’ll be submerged in the beauty of the Fynbos floral kingdom as you’re guided along the 2-kilometer hike to the pools.   Once you arrive at the pools, you can choose what you’d like to do: go swimming in the pools, or relax alongside them and enjoy the picturesque surroundings of one of the Western Cape’s best nature reserves. For adrenaline junkies, the pools have a number of rock jumps that range from 7 meters to 22 meters high.   Your day concludes with a healthy lunch and a few drinks at a “sundowners” location.

Amazing day with wonderful people! My guide also providing me with a bunch of other suggestions. He also walked me through the company's new travel app (Local Knowledge Travel) which helped me connect to other travellers and find some really cool recommendations. Thanks so much Yanga and Nicole. Great team and a great offering

Our guide was an absolute legend! I don't usually write review but I felt compelled to tell the world how great these guys are. I was a bit hesitant to book a guided tour (I like to explore cities myself) but something told me that this would be different. I am so glad I chose Local Knowledge. It was like a day trip with a bunch of close mates. We listened to great music, told stories, was so relaxed but at the same time, super professional. What a great day! Nick (the owner and our host for the day) showed us his new travel app (Local Knowledge Travel)....remember the's going to be the next Instagram! Best way to get authentic, local recommendations and connect to other, young travellers. Well done guys!

Great day out with Nick! He was super knowledgeable and very passionate about his country/city, his company & his job. He allowed me to test his new travel app for free. I highly recommend checking it out! It's called Local Knowledge Travel and it's legit. It's like an authentic version of TripAdvisor where (all suggestions are provided by locals.) What a great idea! Congrats Nick! This is going viral
