Full description
Immerse yourself in Cape Town's varied and panoramic wine-growing region on this customizable private tour. After getting picked up from your hotel in Cape Town CBD, travel to the Stellenbosch wine region. At the first winery of the day, enjoy a full tour of the cellars and discover the history and production process of an assortment of award-winning wines. Enjoy a selection of local artisan cheeses under the massive oaks in the scenic courtyard while partaking in a master class in wine etiquette. Continue to the Kanonkop Wine Estate, home to the award-winning Paul Sauer wine, where you will get a peek into South Africa’s best wine maker’s cellar and savor a variety of top wines. Next, head to the Delheim Wine Estate. Here, enjoy a delicious a la carte lunch under the terrace with beautiful views of the Stellenbosch valley and Table Mountain.  Later, visit the Muratie Wine Estate and enjoy an exceptional selection of wines and dessert wines under a 4-century-old oak tree planted by “Amber” – a slave mistress with a dessert wine named after her. Finally, make your way to the final stop, passing by the iconic Oom Samie se Winkel store along the way. At Middelvlei Wines, sharpen your winemaking skills and blend and bottle your very own bottle of wine to take home before getting dropped off back at your hotel.

Robbie was a fantastic host with so much knowledge and passion about what he does. We visited some fantastic wine farms that were smaller, family run and full of history. The wine selected for us was exceptional and varied. Our lunch was top notch - the burger was to die for! To finish our day we got to blend our own wine! We did pretty good . All in all a fabulous day with the wonderful Robbie!

O tour foi tranquilo e o Robby fez um bom trabalho (por isso dei duas estrelas). O problema foi que contratamos um tour em Português e no final o passeio foi somente em ingles. Não está certo isso.
