Full description
After an 8:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Cape Town or the surroundings, your first stop will be a visit to the clock tower on the waterfront. From there, take a shared boat to Robben Island Prison Museum, departing at 9:00 AM. On the island, an ex-prisoner will be your guide and take you through the prison, where you'll get to see the cell where Nelson Mandela spent so many years. Upon return from the island at approximately 1:00 PM, your guide will be waiting for you again at the clock tower. After a break for a quick bite to eat, your group will proceed along the Atlantic Seaboard where you can admire the mountains on one side of you and the ocean on the other. Stop at Maiden's Cove for a photo opportunity with a backdrop of the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Passing through Clifton, Camps Bay, Llundadno and Hout Bay, stop for photos on one of the world's most scenic routes - Chapman's Peak drive.  Next, stop at Boulder's penguin colony to visit these enchanting creatures. Watch as these adorable birds play and frolic in the ocean. Your final destination will be the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve for a guided tour and a photo stop at this very popular landmark. From there, you'll travel to Cape Point, where you can hike to the top of the lighthouse (or take the funicular). The return route will be via the Old Cape Road, with drop off at your accommodation between 5:00 and 6:00 PM.

Exclusive and very informative tour. Definitely good value for money. Our tour guide, Seraphin is the best in the world. Very patient and hospitable! Will definitely recommend this private tour to friends and family. The map of South Africa makes much more sense than ever before. Robben Island was very sad and intense!

Danson went above and beyond for us the entire day. Great tour!

We had a great time on this tour and although Robben Island took up the majority of the day, our guide Danson made sure we had enough time at each location after that despite traffic on the way down to Boulder’s and Cape Point. Danson was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He was also an amazing photographer! We also did not bring enough money with us for the shuttle up to the top of Cape Point and back, but he was more than happy to lend us the fee until we got dropped off. Overall a great experience and a fantastic way to see the beautiful points of Cape Town
