On top of snapping some Instagram-worthy pictures, you'll learn about the Cape Town culture and history behind those sites. Visit the colourful houses in the Cape Malay Quarter known as the Bo Kaap and learn about its heritage and cultures. Drive along the Atlantic Seaboard with the oceans on one side and the mountains on the other and stop at Maiden's Cove with 12 Apostles as a backdrop. Take a boat to Seal Island to visit the Seals colony. Stop over at the viewpoint along Chapmans Peak drive, one of the most scenic routes in the world. Visit Boulders Penguins colony and take a selfie with these enchanting sea creatures. A trip to the Cape of Good Hope affords you not only a photo opportunity but also to learn about the history of this monumental nature reserve. You may encounter a baboon, so please take care not to venture too closely as these are wild animals and may be dangerous. Great tour! Got to see everything we wanted (seal island, Cape point, Cape of good hope, boulder beach, bo-kaap, Chapman peak). We were a small group of 7 people which was great. We had plenty of time for every stop we made. Our tour guide, James, was very kind and knew so much about the history of Cape Town. He made the tour so much more fun and interesting than if we would have done it alone.

The trip was very informative . It went from 8.20 am until 6.30 pm and was a jam packed day . I think that we could have missed out Boo Kaap as this tour was to focus on the cape peninsula and going back to the city seemed a little disconnected to the rest of the tour. This would have saved time and allowed a more relaxing trip . The guide was full Of knowledge.

Unfortunately, the pick-up at the hotel did not work, after intensive phone calls, information exchange via Whatsapp with Getyourguide and help from the hotel management, after more than 2 hours of waiting in the hotel lobby, we managed to find a responsible person and ensure our transport to the group. The local guide is not to blame, as he had received 3 different hotels for our pick-up from the head office (unfortunately our hotel was not among them) and had also tried to find us. After the successful merger, we spent a wonderful day, the guide tried very hard to fulfill all of our wishes and to find the best photo opportunities.
