What people are saying about Capital Region of Iceland

Bustravel Iceland are fantastic - when we went on this tour we witnessed a fantastic Northern lights show (after rescheduling due to poor weather). We were lucky enough to have Siggi as our tour guide, who went above and beyond to show and tell us about the Northern Lights. His passion for the Northern Lights was infectious and his predictions about when and how they would show were pretty much spot on. Not only did he tell us how to spot the lights, he also showed us how to capture them on our phones/cameras and was kind enough to share his spectacular photographs, which he captured on his DSLR, with us at the end of the tour. Fabulous.

The trip was well organised with 10 coaches in total. The guide explained about the northern lights during the travel to a field in the middle of nowhere. Altough the pickup was at the BSI bus terminus the coach dropped us off near our hotel on the way back.

We went Tuesday night of this week with Ingo (spelling?) on the small group tour and he was great. Very humorous and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the night -- the lights were limited but definitely worth the sightings.

We were so incredibly lucky to see the whole sky light up with the northern lights. Our lovely guide also took professional photos for us. Just make sure you wrap up warm!

It was just right, not too short and not too long. The Secret Lagoon wasn’t crowded and the geyser, right there, was fun to watch every 7-10 minutes or so.
