Discover the most iconic, as well as the lesser-known, gems of Lake Como on this full-day e-bike tour starting from Cardano. Visit the villages of Griante and Lenno and cycle along the shores of Lake Lugano.

Start your tour in the peaceful Renaissance hamlet of Cardano, just above Menaggio, and take the scenic cycle path through the mountains bordering the Val Sanagra. Ride the railway line that connected Lake Como to Lake Lugano. Cycling through the pretty village of Griante, off the tourist track, get your first glimpse of the charming courtyards, cobbled paths, historic villas, and captivating lake views that characterize this area. Take in views of Comacina Island, Villa Margherita, Villa Carlotta, Villa Sola Cabiati and the Villa Balbiano and Balbianello. Ride around the main square of Lenno and weave through sections of the Greenway path.

Stop for lunch at a mountain restaurant and enjoy the open fields and spectacular views of the lake before a slow cycle through two charming little mountain villages.

Head down onto the beach of Lake Lugano where you reconnect with the cycle path. Complete this last section of the old railway line on the way back to Cardano, an easy cycle to wind down after a perfect day.
