Our tour guide Dan was quite good, but we felt that some free time to explore would have been better than to walk short distances, see little but listen a lot. The little bus we had to travel in was old and not up to standard for a tour like this. No aircon, dirty seats, windscreen wipers not working well, doors rattling (we had to stop twice so that Dan could close the sliding door properly). The company Dan works for need to up their standards. I think other operators are probably offering a better experience overall.

Picked up right ontime. We were a group of 7 requiring 3 different languages and our guide communicated well to all of us. It was difficult to hear him while in the car due to traffic noise. We had ample time to see the various sights and enjoy a small sit down lunch.

Teresa was a lovely guide. She shared lots of facts and stories about Syracusa and Noto. We started by stopping at the archaeological park for about 1.5 hours which was just enough time to walk through the whole park. In January 2023, the “tomb of Archimedes” (not that actual tomb) was closed. We then drove to Syracusa and walked to the island of Ortygia. We ate lunch there and later traveled to Noto. Incredible views, plenty of photo opportunities. Highly recommend buying something from the food market in Ortygia.
