Later, visit the town of Tekom and drive around to see one of the largest settlements on the Yucatan Peninsula. See a local church and get a glimpse of some of the locals as they pass by on their day-to-day errands and activities. Head to Sardin Alak next to visit a local bee farm. Once there, learn about ancient Mayan beekeeping practices and its special stingless bee species. Check out the local products of the farm. After the bee farm tour, take a break and enjoy a local Yucatecan lunch before making your way back to your accommodation.
