Our city tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about local history and showed us some pretty interesting places. Boone Hall was amazing! We got some really good recommendations of things to do while we were there and we had plenty of time to do it all. I highly recommend the Gullah show, it was phenomenal and a great learning experience.

Although underneath all the fun & excitement of history, we know Charleston has a sad history of Slavery. The Boone Hall history is of such like other plantations, we all should get a chance to witness. Although the history is there it was bitter/sweet. I agree with one of the tour guides, it's America's history & we should all know it. No matter how bitter it can be. MY time in Charleston was well worth it. Thank you for the showcase.

Was hoping the plantation portion would be before city tour, but wasn't. The city tour was very informative and the guide very knowledgeable. Boone Hall portion was OK, but due to the amount of walking required, it was difficult if you have mobility or heat intolerance issues. More benches needed in shady areas! Interesting, but more time needed to see all of Boone Hall.
