We very much enjoyed a two and a half hour Segway trip with the lovely Carla, who was happy, chatty and full of little snippets of information. The Segway ride itself was easy and very pleasant, taking us the whole way around Heidelberg and its surrounds, as well as visiting the Wolf’s Fountain, the Castle and the cobbled Old Town, giving us a good insight into the town in a relatively short amount of time. The thing that made our Segway trip extra special was that the whole of Europe was engulfed in a heatwave, including Heidelberg, however we managed to glide effortlessly and elegantly around the whole city without breaking a sweat! We would recommend this trip to anyone.

It says hotel pickup. One would expect a van or car. No. The guide will walk to your hotel, and then you will walk to the start site. Our tour was to start at 12:00. Our guide finished a tour at 12:00. She would have had to walk 15 minutes to get us, and then 15 minutes back. By then it would be at least 12:30. She asked if we would just meet her at the start point. We did. Tour started 20 minutes late, but she stayed with us 20 minutes past the stated end time. Should NOT advertise hotel pickup!

The castle is magical and our guide (Olga) was so knowledgeable

The Heidelberg castle is a magical place, full of so much history, but we'd never had the full experience of knowledge and understanding of its history had it not been for Olga, our guide. She provided a great tour, in English, with great historical insights. I highly recommend this tour and Olga as your guide.

A wonderful way to visit a beautiful and interesting city

Once we had adapted to each others' accents, Olga's guide through Heidelberg in English was insightful, interesting and very friendly. With her enthusiasm and love for the city, we got a glimpse not only of how it was and its long history, but also of what it is like to live in it today.

Perfect balance between try history stuff and enjoyment!

We had the 3h tour through Heidelberg, starting at the Neckar, historic district (old city) and finishing up at the Heidelberg castel. The guide was super friendly and explained things in a very interesting and diverting way. We would definitive do it once again.
