Meander through the small lanes to sights such as the Wat Chiang Man, Chiang Mai’s oldest temple where ancient marble and crystal Buddha images are enshrined. Discover the rarely visited Wat Sadue Muang, known as the "“Temple of the City Navel” in reference to the location where the temple was built over 700 years ago. See its glorious white Buddha statue and the Three Kings Monument. Learn more about the Wat Chedi Luang, built to house the ashes of a Lanna king and formerly the home of the Emerald Buddha now at the Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok. Admire the gate of Tha Phae, where traders used to bring their wares into the city, and learn about Chiang Mai's history as a trading hub. Excellent Guide and Ride - Well Worth Doing!

Good bikes - already set up to my height and didn't have to adjust the seat. Our guide was Anh and she was terrific, giving full information on all the sights we were taken to. She also included an extra sight when one of our party of three requested it. Riding a bike in Chiang Mai might seem daunting but Anh guided us through it all and at no time did I feel in danger. Well worth doing at a very reasonable price.

We booked this trip before we touched down Chiang Mai. I'm glad that we made this decision to have this historical cycle trip the 1st activity for our trip as the guide James is very friendly, helpful and informative. We travelled with 2 kids a 11 years old and 9 years old. Both of my kids enjoy the trip very much as this cycling trip is not a difficult ride. Occasionally we may needs to cross the main road which need more attention. Most of the time we cycled along the back alley. We made a few stops at the temples, 3 King monument and the local market to explore the history and how the local lives in Chiang mai. James told us lots of interesting stories of the Chiang Mai city and the philosophy of Buddhism. Quite interesting indeed. Also, the session of local fruit tasting was nice. Yes, we had a great trip for sure and thanks again to James and Bobby who is another guide helping us during the trip. Keep it up with the great work!

The bike tour is nice and gives a good overview of Chiang Mai’s old city. The bikes are well maintained and easy to handle. Actual time spent on the bike is rather short due to the number and duration of stops. 30 minutes at the food market seemed excessive to me. Anyway, 5* to our guide Bom, who was very motivated and caring.
