What people are saying about Chicken Island

This was an absolutely fantastic experience. Our guide was so friendly, fun to be around, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He encouraged us to enjoy our time, was always open to questions, and helped us learn about the beautiful surroundings. Speaking of the surroundings, they were breath-taking. We were lucky to have great weather, so the snorkeling was filled with tropical fish and clear water. Later, Chicken Island made us laugh and lived up to the name. After, dinner was quite the spread. We felt very spoiled. Railey beach had an amazing view and an… hmmm… interesting history with Princess Cave. When you go, you’ll know what I mean. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, we were able to swim in bioluminescent plankton. I personally am afraid of dark water, but with the encouragement of our guide and my partner, I jumped it. It was like swimming in Van Gogh’s “Starry Nights.” Never a lack of laughs, drinks, food, or entertainment. 10/10 recommend. Trust me.

Wow what an experience, you need to book this! We had the time of our life, it’s basically an all day snorkelling trip that pushes you outside your comfort zone with open sea snorkelling and snorkelling in the pitch black night! Our guide Heem was absolutely amazing, friendly, knowledgable and made me feel safe at all times when snorkelling! The best parts of the tour is the open sea snorkelling where we saw the coral reefs with water snakes puffer fish etc, watching the sunset in the middle of the ocean, night snorkelling and all the breathtaking views! Be aware that the plankton aren’t going to be as bright as you see on pictures in google but nevertheless is a breathtaking one time experience regardless.

We had a great day. I recommend this tour to anyone who is in Ao Nang. There is ample time at each stop and you can watch fish on the reef off Chicken Island and Poda Island at leisure. Our guide was super nice, accommodating and always provided interesting details. All in all we had a great day!

Wonderful experience. The bioluminescent plankton and Poda Island were the highlights! Amazing snorkelling conditions and a feast of a bbq! Would recommend to anyone and would do again in a heartbeat.

Good tour, as always, well organized by good local people.
