Brussels: Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

1. Brussels: Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

Explore Brussels with a flexible one or two-day hop-on-hop-off bus tour. Enjoy the flexibility and freedom to jump on and off when you desire. See sites such as the Charles Rogier Square, Grote Markt, the Grand Place, and many more.  Choose a 1 or 2-day ticket to suit your schedule and start your sightseeing journey. Use your ticket on the blue and red routes and hop off wherever you like. See the sites you want to and spend as much time as you want there at your leisure. Pick a seat in the open-top for panoramic views or in the covered cabin to stay warm. Listen to the recorded commentary about the highlights, sit back, relax, and enjoy unlimited travel for 24 or 48 hours. Follow the blue bus route to see the Saints-Michel-et-Gudule Cathedral, the Belgian Comic Strip Centre, and Botanical Garden. This route also passes the Charles Rogier Square, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Church of Our Lady of Laeken, the Royal Castle of Laeken, and Royal Greenhouses. Don't forget to stop off and take pictures at the Atomium, the Magritte Museum, Sainte-Catherine Square, the Manneken-Pis, and the market square to see the Grand Place. As well, explore the outstanding City Hall and the Art Nouveau major townhouses, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Jump on the red route to stop at the Place Royale to see the best viewpoint over Brussels, Mont des Arts. Hop off at the Palace of Fine Arts, the Sablons quarter, and the European Parliament, if you like. On this route, you can also see the Coudenberg Palace, the Musical Instruments Museum, the Horta Museum, or the Royal Museums of Art and History.

Brussels: Private Comic Strip Running Tour with Museum Visit

2. Brussels: Private Comic Strip Running Tour with Museum Visit

Discover the city centre, meandering through its narrow streets and market places, from comic strip wall to comic strip wall. Expect a stop at the Comic Strip museum, with its spectacular architecture. If booked in the morning, stroll through the flea market where Tintin bought the Unicorn, as you may have seen in the Spielberg movie. Meet a giant smurf, because the smurfs are Belgian, not American! You will even run into Josephine Baker, her leopard, and her Capuchin love interest... At the end, of course, a little riddle :)

We consulted the site the day before departure and took our information by email asking for the departure times at the various stops. We got a map of the city with the places to see. We had help from a Toot bus agent on site at the start of the blue route at 9:30 a.m. bld Impérial to find our reservation. No help on the other hand by the driver and not very enthusiastic to see us. In addition, no information communicated via his microphone on the course of the course and ns welcome possibly in his bus. Nice route but it does not necessarily stop at the stops mentioned. The terminals are not visible enough for tourists. I only did one course. I would have liked to know more about the city, possibly about the houses with magnificent, very atypical period facades instead of listening to music and seeing more things in the 2 hour journey. In conclusion, a good day without major problems.

To see everything in 1 day in a relatively quick and reasonably affordable way, hop-on hop-off is a very good option. The children can hear the history of the city in their own mother tongue. Super!!!

Very nice and helpful driver. The routes lead through the city in a varied way. This gives you an impression of how people live in Brussels.

Good opportunity to see the sights that are a bit off the beaten path. Unfortunately, it takes a while until the next bus leaves.

Picked up just outside our Hotel (Thon) - didn’t get to do both routes but would have if I had more time.
