As soon as you leave the port of Positano, have a look to the countryside and marvel at the thousand colours emerging from the lush green of the coast. Time to admire Praiano! Look at the beautiful coastline, there is an ancient and very characteristic fishing village, capable of blending some luxury villas with its authentic origin. If you wish you can get some free time in Praiano, to visit its small historic center, with the romanic church of San Gennaro. Get ready to enjoy the thrilling Fjord of Furore, one of the most enchanting places on the whole Amalfi coast. This place was declared Unesco heritage in 1997, together with the entire Amalfi Coast, it’s an unbelievable location, where the sea meets a river creating a charming and unique scenery. There’s another stop you can enjoy before spending some hours in Amalfi, the Emerald Grotto, nearby the Baia di Conca dei Marini, one of the gems of the Amalfi Coast. The name of the grotto represents the intense green color of its waters. It is possible to visit the grotto inside with a boat approximately (from 9.30 am to 4 pm), and discover its fantastic stalagmites, but you will have to buy the entrance ticket (7,00 € per person). After the visit, enjoy a drink on the way back to Positano overlooking the breathtaking sunset is a must!
