I booked one day before the trip and everything worked out pretty well. Pick-up was on time at the predefined location just 5 min walk from my hotel. The bus was clean, but nothing special, but the aircondition could have been a little more powerful, but it was ok. Stella, our guide was very nice and helpfull. A native Greek, her English wasn't perfect, but we understood everything without problem. We really had fun with her and she told us interesting stories throughout the whole journey. The 2 stops wer absolutely OK. Late lunch was very good and reasonably priced, against my expectations. Now to Elafonisi Beach. Yes there are many tourists, especially where the sun chairs are and there, the sand is not so pink anymore. But if you wander around and walk for 20 min, you can have a pink sanded bay of your own. I won't tell you exactly where you have to go, so that the paradise stays this way. Forget the shops, bars and kiosks. Highly overpriced. Toilets and showers are on location.

This tour is exactly as described. We started off the day by dropping off one group at the port to go to Balos beach. Then we went to this cafe with a cafe (make the walk for the cave!) Next was our stop at Elafonisi, where we had 4 hours. I highly recommend an umbrella or kayak! The next stop was at a restaurant for an hour. The food was okay in price and quality, but nothing special. Lastly we picked up the Balos group and were dropped off at the initial departure. Guides were friendly and professional. If you are brave enough, it would save a LOT of time to rent a car and drive to the beach. Overall a good tour but about 5-6 hours of being in a bus.

In the morning there was a missunderstanding with the starting time, but the tour guide was really nice and understanding. The trip was great, the bus drive took quite long, but we had a stop on the way there and back so it was ok. The beach was beautiful, everybody should see it.
