If you are in Crete, you should definitely not miss this excursion! It was a super nice trip with a great guide and a beautiful destination! We were picked up at 7:20 a.m. and then drove about 2 hours, during which time we picked up other guests. Then we took a half hour break in the middle of the mountains of Crete in a small cafe. There everyone could have something to eat and drink before it was about a 40 minute drive to Elafonissi Beach. When we got there we had 4 hours of free time. We were at the second beach at the back because it was a bit quieter there and we enjoyed the good weather. On the way back we made a stop at a cave where there was also the possibility to have something to drink or eat. Around 6:00 p.m. we were back at the hotel and had a super nice day!

Even if you have to get up at dawn, the day in Elafonisi was extraordinary. Pick-up by air-conditioned coach 5 minutes from my hotel, walk with guide. First step for breakfast (incredible olive oil sold on site). Short history lesson on the road, then arrival at Elafonisi, magnificent beach, deckchair (paying 10th) 2 steps from the water. Clear water, pink sand, everything you need on site: towel, souvenir, jewellery, beer, food. 4 hours of freedom then return to the hotel via a small restaurant, a cave and a small church. I totally recommend, Ingrid and Dimitri were perfect Ps: the road is a bit scary, it winds on the mountainside with the void we feel that at the slightest skid it is a disaster but the driver was experienced

We drove from Kavros and so the tour wasn't too long. The tour guide told a lot on the way there, which I found very good. On the way back we made a stop at a small tavern. The beach is breathtaking and fantastically beautiful! And worth every trip there! The 4 hours there were enough to absorb all the impressions. Insanity. On the way back we stopped at a large stalactite hell .... the stairs are very steep and you should have sturdy shoes on, because in hell itself it is very dangerous without them.
